An Introduction of Vocational Training Center Jhang (Destructive Industry)

Government Vocational Center Jhang was established in 1950 to fulfill needs of  new established country "Pakistan".
After the partition of subcontinent Pakistan was facing a lot of problems, one of them was lack of textile and Woolen industry to fulfill the needs of Public, Pakistan Army (Overcoat), and Hospitals (blanket) and Technical Institution to train the skillful worker class for industry. 
Just  few textile  industries (Sargodha Textile, Colony Textile in Multan, Volica Textile in Karachi and Koh e Noor Textile in Faislabad) came into the part of Pakistan were not sufficient to fulfill needs of Pakistan.  There was  no single technical institution for training of worker force for industry. 

In 1950 Government of Pakistan take steps to establish industry in Pakistan and established weaving factory and Technical Education Institution located at Shahdra, Lahore Provincial capital city of Punjab. In this institution government of Pakistan start production of cotton as well as Technical Education Program of two years diploma after Matric. 

Under this Institution Government of Pakistan also established a Woolen Vocational and Technical Education institute in District Jhang. Because a skillful work force of Indian woolen industry of Panipat migrated to District Jhang. Woolen center in Panipat, India  was under control of United Kingdom to prepare overcoat and blanket for Allies group of World War 2  (Britain, France, Australia, United State) . Panipat was famous for woolen industry and called "City of Weavers" and City of Textile, small industries was also established in every house of paanipat because the demand of wool industry was increasing day by day. 

After the Partition it was need of time to establish a Industrial institute to fulfill need of public and also demand of Blanket for Hospitals and overcoat and blanket for Pakistan Army. Under the supervision of Chaudhary Ahmad Deen Gujar established Vocational Center for production of  wool products and Technical Education.

Chaudhary Ahmad Deen was the Employee of Woolen center Panipat, India with designation of "Weaving Supervisor" take responsibility of Assistant Development Officer Woolen and Vocational training institute of Jhang.
